The
popularity of 3D technology has been on the rise in recent years, and the
Holocube is one product currently capitalising on this trend. The Holocube is a
holographic display system that is designed, produced and assembled in Belgium.
It is a fully integrated 3D projection platform that provides companies with a
whole new way to set their brand, product or campaign apart. While applications
for holographic technology have so far been fairly limited, it appears that it
is finally starting to gain traction with Holocube bringing 3D displays to
public markets.
The Holocube
is offered in a variety of sizes ranging from 10” up to 70”, which is a 1.8
metre tall box with a 70 “ diagonal screen capable of handling full-sized human
projections. The display screen is a
sheet of transparent glass so viewers can walk around it for two-sided viewing.
Internally, each Holocube comes with a 40GB solid-state harddrive that can
store approximately 18 hours of uncompressed video at a bit rate of 4 Mb/s or 8
hours of compressed video at 9Mb/s. All
of its operations are pre-programmed so users only need to flip one switch to
turn it on and play back pre-recorded video. Content is displayed at full 1080p
resolution and is conveniently uploaded and changed via USB. In addition, the
Holocube is also able to automatically reboot itself upon power interruption
The Holocube
does not use a projector to display images so each unit is self contained and
can easily be incorporated into retail, point-of-sale, exhibitions and road
shows. Housed in a contemporary and sleek aluminum casing, the Holocube uses
the most advanced holographic techniques to bring a brand, product or message
to life in style.
Expocentric
has exclusive rights to the use of Holocube products in Australia.
